Camps Weeks 2

International 2
This year we return to Ufton Court for another amazing Experienceology Camp!
We will be exploring the grounds at Ufton Court from dusk till dawn to find stories, places and inspiration for a brand new piece of performance. You will have the opportunity to experience loads of new activities, develop skills that you already have, but also have time to just chill in the beautiful environment that is Ufton!
We always use things we have found to base our Theatre on; objects, records, memories, overheard, conversations. We will sift through loads of different things, some of which we will ask you to bring, before we work together as a company to transform the stories that emerge, into performance. Its hard work, but brilliant fun!
There is no formal selection process for our Camps, and anyone is welcome to attend. The only requirement is that you are passionate about Music Theatre! Even though we do not currently receive any funding, we always try to subsidise places for those people who might not be able to afford the course fee.
What does a Camp look like?
Each day follows a similar pattern, with workshop sessions in the morning and afternoon, with a long lunch break in between, giving plenty of opportunities for you to recharge your batteries, or maybe work with others, towards making something for the last night cabaret; the choice is yours.
We have our very own THRIFT catering team, who cook three fantastic meals each day, full of fresh ingredients and popular grub.
Each evening we have an informal gathering called “The Glee Club” where we get together to tell stories, make music & drink cocoa.
We encourage everyone to be quiet by 22:00, so everyone is able to be useful the next day.
